The launch of the new photographic book promoting our unique city – Melbourne Symmetry, was held on Saturday, 22 November 2008 between 11.00am–5.00pm at the Book Market in The Atrium, Federation Square .

Rain, hail and gusts of wind didn't stop visitors experiencing Melbourne undercover! With almost 100 books sold on the day, the first cheque for a percentage of sales proceeds will be donated to the Lord Mayors Charitable Foundation in time for Christmas.

With many pieces of art displayed on the day, the photographer Con Hionis, was busy throughout the day talking to visitors about his photographic technique and doing personal book signings.
