ABOUT THE MAG

HEAVY is an independent quarterly ‘heavy’ music magazine; produced by people who live for their music. The contributors are musicians, Music Journos and die-hard fans.
The magazine was created to help emerging Australian underground ‘heavy’ talent, as well as featuring high-profile International and Australian acts in the ‘heavy’ music scene. HEAVY will be used as a resource of information, with a strong focus on providing industry tips, up to date information and advice by some of the most experienced and knowledgeable Australian and International music professionals.

 

HOW WE HELP

 

186Red formulated advertising rates, put together timelines and a publishing plan, flatplans, created content for the rate cards and media kits, contracted the design, distribution and print services and enabled the iTunes and Google Play apps for the magazine. We continue to do so after 12 issues and brokered the sale of the magazine's ownership.
