ABOUT THE BOOK

 

This book is about Melbourne’s famous small hotel, the Hotel Tolarno.

 

Hotel Tolarno has embarked on a new stage in its artistic journey. The current owner has indulged his own passion and delight in the work of young artists, and built an impressive collection of well over 100 pieces. Each has a special place and in every case, the room or public space in which it is found has been designed around that piece.

 

HOW WE HELPED

 

186Red was contacted to develop and publish a coffee table book that would allow hotel guests to have a glimpse behind closed doors (of hotel rooms they are not occupying!) at the wonderfully curated artwork. We have developed concepts, engaged writers, licensing photography and will be printing a stunning book for the hotel to sell from its premises and website.
